The purpose of this research was to investigate the factors affecting the development of students' sociability in sports. The current research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of method, and its data collection was carried out as a survey. The statistical population of the research included student sports managers, sports management and sociology professors, and physical education teachers in Iraq. The sample of the research was considered to be 384 people based on the table of Karjesi and Morgan due to the unknown number of the population. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire containing 21 questions based on a 5-point Likert scale. After collecting the data, the effective factors on the development of students' socialization in sports were classified in four dimensions: government-legal, cultural-social, managerial and economic factors. To measure the face and content validity, the questionnaire designed by 10 sports management professors was approved and to measure the reliability of the questionnaire, this questionnaire was given to 30 sample people and by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to 0.83, it was confirmed. The results showed that administrative, cultural-social, government-legal and economic factors are effective in the development of students' socialization in sports. All four factors in total explained about 55% of the variance of the development variable of students' sociability in sports. Social-cultural factors with an effect value of 0.84, governmental-legal factors with 0.82, economic factors with 0.76 and managerial factors with 0.63 were effective on the development of socialization of students.
