The research method was qualitative and grounded theory was used. The statistical population included all employees of the Islamic Azad University, Kerman Branch with a total of 587 individuals, and the sample consisted of 14 people, selected purposefully, after reaching theoretical saturation. The data collection tool in this study was in-depth semi-structured interviews. For data analysis, the grounded theory qualitative method was employed, and MAXQDA2024 software was used to extract initial concepts. The findings indicated that the factors in developing sports among the employees of the Islamic Azad University of Kerman included causal conditions (facilities and equipment, general conditions of employees), contextual conditions (economic issues, cultural issues, social issues), intervening conditions (employees’ attitudes towards academic sports, senior managers’ attitudes towards academic sports, increasing facilities and equipment), strategies (planning, changing senior managers’ attitudes, employing successful models), and outcomes (improvement in physical and mental health, development of employee sports at the university). Finally, a model for the development of sports among the employees of the Islamic Azad University of Kerman was presented. هدف مطالعه حاضر طراحی مدل مفهومی توسعه ورزش کارکنان دانشگاهی با رویکرد کیفی تحلیل مضمون بود. روش تحقیق کیفی بود و از نظریه داده‌بنیاد استفاده شد. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه کارکنان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد کرمان به تعداد 587 نفر و نمونه آماری 14 نفر پس از رسیدن به اشباع نظری بود و به شیوه هدفمند انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها در تحقیق حاضر مصاحبه‌های عمیق نیمه‌ساختار یافته بود. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌های گردآوری شده از روش کیفی داده‌بنیاد استفاده شد و جهت استخراج مفاهیم اولیه از نرم‌افزار MAXQDA2024 استفاده گردید. یافته‌ها نشان داد که فاکتورهای توسعه ورزش کارکنان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی کرمان شامل شرایط علی (امکانات و تجهیزات، شرایط کلی کارکنان)، شرایط زمینه‌ای (مسائل اقتصادی، مسائل فرهنگی، مسائل اجتماعی)، شرایط مداخله‌گر (نگرش کارکنان به ورزش دانشگاهی، نگرش مدیران ارشد به ورزش دانشگاهی، افزایش امکانات و تجهیزات)، راهبردها (برنامه‌ریزی، تغییر نگرش مدیران ارشد، بکارگیری الگوهای موفق)، پیامدها و نتایج (بهبود سلامت جسمانی و روانی، توسعه ورزش کارکنان دانشگاه) می‌باشد. در نهایت الگوی توسعه ورزش کارکنان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی کرمان ارائه شد. https://ntes.imamreza.ac.ir/article_235972_54e3c1ae63692adf14be784b53d0ddd4.pdf
